---Soon...---

"That's really your plan?  Get its location, go there and stab it untill it dies?"

"That's not what I said!" Ascar snaps.  "It's far more complicated than that.  They aren't going to just divulge the location of their most dangerous prisoner!  We're going to have to convince them.  A gift of some kind."

"I know the perfect gift. A new prisoner. Exchange me for information. I can help from he inside as well. Some of the other prisoners might have valuable information."

<Besides, I could use some recon practice. And, it'd help show them I am willing to help as much as possible.>

"I'm quite familiar with Them, I fought Them. And won. Well, if you determine 'won' as gaining their admiration for a brief amount of time, and them letting me fight the ruler of the Nightmare Throne."

(As seen in Raven's Dot Society Volume 3. His powers from that novel do not translate to this RP, except for the ones listed on the Character Sheet.)

Ascar stares at Will.

"Are you by any chance a member of the Dott socie-never mind.  But trust me, boy-if you defeated them once, and hand yourself over, you'll be even worse off than before.  No, we need something different.  They love power over anything else, so we're going to give them some in exchange for Shadowfall's prison location.  Killing him should be easy; he's powerless in that place, and chained to a wall."

<Damn, he has a point. They'd just use that chance to kill me. I've lost the powers I had back then, and I'm not as lucky.>

"So, what are you thinking? Should we give them a rare item?"

Will noticed a Satoshi's katana on the floor, and picks it up. He decides to bring it up after the meeting to Jakob.

"Don't worry, we've been trained to resist influence of the mind. And besides, it seems normal. The hilt is hollow, though."

Will opens the end of the hilt, and a silver locket falls out. Inside is a picture of Satoshi, Yuka, Yoshiki, and 6 other people.

"I guess he was really sentimental."

Wilson knods.

"Now normally, we would have to traverse a series of challenges in order to reach Maxwell's throne, but I, being the genius that I am, have installed a vortoplasmic transportal booster onto the device, which should sent us straight to him That lousy, pea-brained ******* will never know what hit him!  Er, sorry."

"So there's that name again, Maxwell. Tell me about this guy. He seems to make you mad..."

He looks at Snowfall.

"What do you mean? We're all going in. That's the only way we stand a chance, if there's anything dangerous."

"Well, Maxwell is the man who lured you all here.  I, on the other hand...was brought here when it was first created as Shadowfall's prison.  They are the true wardens, though."

Azcar sighs.

"Let's get on with the items."

Reaching into the bag, Azcar pulls out a large glass globe.  Shadows race around inside it, red lightning crackling around them.

"The Soul Cauldron.  Said to contain thousands of imprisoned shades.  Difficult to destroy; easy to draw shadow power from."

Azcar reaches into the bag and pulls out a short staff with a carved dragon's mouth at the end.  The dragon holds a pure black stone inside its mouth.

"The transformation staff.  A particular favorite of Shadowfall before he could shapeshift on his own.  It allows the user to turn himself or another into whatever creature they so desire.  However, the staff is so old it is not as strong as it once was-"

A blast of red lightning bolts from the staff and turns Snowfall into a beetle with a small *poof*.

"Oh dear.  Sorry."
