*Sundrop sees what Shard is doing*

"Your name is Shard? Sounds like a piece of a crystal."

*Sundrop kneels beside Shard and scratches her behind the ear*

[Ellebelly24]

*Starts to shiver, and her hair waves uncontrollably*

"It's getting pretty chilly... Do you guys have any cabins I could use?"

[Hugo M.]

* Looks at Sundrop*

"Hi there ladie. You seem to be feeling cold,do you want me to build a campfire?"

[Ellebelly24]

"Erm... Sure..."

*she looks confused*

[Battal]

Jakob thinks as hard as he can.

 

<JOSEPH!  Keep the group from telling her the location of the cavern!>

[Blewcheese]

'Got it.'

Joseph replies to Jakob, then communicates speechlessly to the others in the group.

'Guys, whatever you do, don't tell Sundrop where the cavern is.'

[Ellebelly24]

*Sundrop starts shaking violently*

"Brrr! It's gotten really cold."

*She burns a little circle around, trying to get warmer. It's turns a deep shade of blue and disappears*

[Blewcheese]

Joseph looks at Sundrop, deciding that it was best to keep her distracted.

"Oh, you don't look so good. where'd you learn to play with fire like that?"

[Ellebelly24]

"I really have a hard time using fire when I'm cold... That's why it did that.."

*she continues to shake*

[Blewcheese]

Joseph smiles kindly.

"Yes, but where did you ever learn such a wonderful skill?"

He tries to keep her mind moving and thinking as Jakob sapped her heat.

[Battal]

Jakob pushed his efforts to the limit, the air around Sundrop growing freezing and devoid of any heat.

[Ellebelly24]

*Sundrop stands up*

"Why do you want to know?"

*Sundrop points Fire staff at him*

[Blewcheese]

Joseph puts his hands up, to show surrender.

"My, no need to be hasty now. I am simply in awe of your ability. I do not want to appear nosy."

[Ellebelly24]

*Sundrop holds her staff over his heart*

"LIAR!!! YOU ALL ARE LIARS!!!"

*the ground around them starts to flicker*

[Battal]

The freezing air starts to reach Jakob, hitting him like a wall.  He never did well in cold tempatures; but he pressed forth, even as the air went below zero.

[Blewcheese]

Joseph laughs, using telekinesis to aim the staff away from his heart.

"Oops. Looks like the gig's up." 

[Ellebelly24]

*Fire starts creeping up Joseph's leg*

"THIS IS WHY YOU WANT ME?! FOR THE GIRL?! SHE IS POINTLESS, WEAK, SHE DOESN'T BELONG HERE!!"

*Her eyes start to blaze as she runs toward Jakob prepared to strike*

[Blewcheese]

Joseph nimbly jumped back, recoiling from the fire.

"Well, she has a much better temper than you."

He reaches out to his right, and a slab of stone breaks off from a large boulder. He uses that to block Sundrop's path towards him.

[Ellebelly24]

*Sundrop jumps back from the boulder*

"You obviously don't understand my power..."

*fire surrounds Joseph and Sundrop*

"You need to find out when there is one more powerful than you!"

[Battal]

Jakob grins weakly.

 

"Bad idea."

 

With one final push, he rips every particle of heat out of Sundrop's body. 

[Ellebelly24]

*all the fire disperses and Sundrop falls to the ground. Her hair starts to turn the color of ash*

"What are you doing?!"

[Blewcheese]

(A bit on the late side.)

Joseph turns the slab sideways, and hops on. He manages to levitate it out of the fire.

"Maybe you are more powerful than I am. But are you more powerful than we are?"

"Oh...nothing...miss."  Jakob says.  " Just...a bit...of personality...switching..."

Shard steps back. She watches silently.
