A crockpot dish made from nightberries would be a cool addition

Nightberries are a cool resource that I personally don't find myself using too much, as you need to carry around bundling wraps to properly prevent them from spoiling, which just isn't something I enjoy doing by the time I have a couple of Gloomthorns fully grown. If a crock pot dish made of nightberries (such as a nightberry pie) were to be added, I would 100% use these in my day to day gameplay since they'd now be able to be stored in the polar bearger bin. It'd also allow for Warly to take advantage of them, and I think that'd be pretty cool too.

the current Nightberries are a bit of a let-down. they spoil quickly, and their overlay, while cool for the first minute, gets really annoying with the blue pulsing veins. 

i would love it if Klei added a crock-pot dish that uses them, and keeps their effect (preferably with a less intense overlay).

ALSO, here is a speculative one, what if Warly (or any other character actually) could use the 'Geode Fruit' from Sproutrock trees in a dish? that would be really nice. and have it give some buff, or effect? (not mining or durability, since that is already present as Warly's food spices)...

Nightberry mousse is a no-brainer. The recipe could be one nightberry and at least 2.5 units of fruit with room for a non-meat filler (the 1 from the nightberry counts as 1, 3 berries would be 1.5, so you could do it with 1 nightberry and 3 normal berries or 1 nightberry and 3 bananas or whatever). I think it should probably be Warly-specific, though, and should last the same duration as glowberry mousse, acting as a later-game upgrade. They could also buff nightberries to spoil slower so it's an overall buff instead of just a Warly buff.

Gemstone soup, that's what it'd be. Recipe's a Geode Fruit and any three veggies.
As for what it'd do, maybe it gives whoever eats it an affinity for anything that uses gems, at least halving durability usage? So, like, 10 uses from a construction amulet, double the duration for the nightmare amulet and magiluminescence before they run out, more use out of staffs, that kind of thing. It should definitely do a tiny amount of damage when you eat it (maybe 5?) and make characters reference their teeth being chipped/hurting (with maybe Wormwood and WX-78 as exceptions since I don't think they'd hurt their teeth eating rocks).

i totally need this.
this is the only mod i like sadly there no customization, would love for it have freshness isntead of behave like jelly bean ig. but this nice means char with restrictive diet can eat it like wigfrid and warly
