Request for Crossplay between Mobile and PC for future updates

Hey Klei Team,

I'm a long-time fan of your games and I'm really excited that Don't Starve Together is finally coming to mobile on July 21st!

As a fan, I have one big request:

Please add crossplay between the Mobile version and PC. This way we can play together with friends who are on PC. A lot of us want to join the same servers no matter what platform we use.

If full crossplay isn't possible right now, please at least consider it for future updates or put it on your roadmap.

you are barking at a very difficult tree here friend. 

you need to keep in mind that Klei, as a developer, are a small studio. they have explain several times in the past, that while they *would* like to have crossplay, it is a complex undertaking. and not on their top priority (at the last time they mentioned it).

overall, its not a simple as it sounds, even if the games are on the same 'version' from console or pc or mobile. 

the more simple example is this: nearly all PC servers at this time have some mods to them. that is easily facilitated with Steam Workshop, that would allow users to effortlessly download the mods, and be able to play. 

that does not work on console or mobile. so that means that any modded server would instantly not be eligible to support that.

another major hurdle that was shared, is the 'entitlement' that consoles have, and the 'control' they exert over the games that do decide to dip a toe in their pool. (in simple words, any update, even a hotfix, has to pass the console, 'Sony', or 'Microsoft' rules and regulation and inspections. before it can be added. and that means that the game versions would be different from PC and console.)
