So I know the reason why the animation is the way it is for the spear is because an actual spearing animation would take too long and like it’s a quality of life type thing, but I feel like if they’re going to make it that animation they really should’ve just went for machete or sword of some type slide. Suggest to the developers what either go back to both Don’t Starve and don’t start together and replace the spear with those or since the spear is such a staple of the game, we could change how it works a bit like what instead of hand hand combat. What if you throw it like we already have arranged weapons in the game and it’s early game, so it would probably fairly weak to the rest, but maybe it could be even a little stronger considering the fact that you would have to get the spear back afterwards, or you guys implement some mechanics from the air of the clockwork knight and have work like that but weaker because obviously the the weapon found in that event it’s a bit too powerful for such an early game item. I even thought about maybe if you are hand-in-hand, maybe works more like a blocking type thing rather than swinging like a sword but then again it’s early game so I feel like introducing blocking that early is a little bit too much
