In the late game, the Shadow side has relatively few useful items compared to the Moon side. It would be worth adding something interesting—or perhaps a variety of items that aren't necessarily powerful but are fun to use. This would create a parallel with the drops from key bosses: the Shadow side has three items that are relatively useless, whereas the Moon side has only one—though it is useful enough.

I think a "Shadow Lamp" could help address this. The idea is that the lamp doesn't create light but instead absorbs darkness, leaving behind illuminated areas (I know that darkness is simply the absence of light and that absorbing it wouldn't create light, but are we discussing physics or *MAGIC* here?). It would look something like this:Polish_20260628_225940686.jpg.9bf403b1bdc5ad15fa3416f5f104ada6.jpg

The stripes leading to the lamp are purely a visual effect; they shouldn't affect anything. This effect can be scaled down to the size of the lamp's texture itself to avoid putting a load on the processor:Polish_20260629_094037413.jpg.145e9b4d31a38ffac742cf4a7380ca3b.jpg

Main mechanics:

• The lantern will "shine" indefinitely as long as it is in the dark. Its charge will replenish from 0 to 100% while it remains in the dark.

• If you step into dusk lighting with a charge below 50%, the dusk lighting will be absorbed and turn into daylight, removing the sanity loss caused by dusk. The charge will replenish up to 50%. After reaching 50% in dusk, the flashlight will turn off.

• If you step into daylight with a charge above 50%, darkness will form around the lantern. If the charge is below 50%, dusk lighting will form instead. Charge will be consumed in either case. When it reaches zero, the darkness disappears. The darkness and dusk work like the real ones: mushrooms grow in the corresponding lighting, animals start hiding or coming out of shelters in dusk, or sleeping at night. Charlie is also present in the lantern's darkness (in the future, I will suggest several ideas for interacting with the monster in the dark, because there are no interesting interactions with Charlie, and she still keeps hitting us, despite the fact that we helped her restore the portal in the atrium).

• During dusk time, if the charge is above 50%, darkness will appear. If the charge is exactly 50%, the flashlight will turn off.

• The lamp is always visible when it creates darkness during the day or evening, so you can pick it up if you drop it during the day.
