Hello , I am a long-term DST player, and I put forward four targeted optimization suggestions for the From Beyond chapter update, hoping to enrich gameplay creativity and improve player experience:

1. Add new crafting recipes tied to the Ancient Temple, and realize summonable friendly guard followers

  1. Add a brand-new teleport staff craftable with teleport orbs, themed around the puzzle mechanics of the Ancient Temple.
  2. Introduce craftable friendly temple guardians as combat followers, crafted from materials dropped by the temple guard bosses.
     
    Balance design reference: Their damage and health can be set to a low baseline. When defeated in battle, they will break apart like the centipedes in the Ancient Archives and regenerate health slowly over time instead of vanishing permanently.
     
    Alternative plan: If new summon units are hard to implement, add a permanent repair mechanic for the existing temporary friendly temple guards we get from puzzles. Players can spend void materials to repair broken guards and keep them long-term.

2. Revamp the gameplay logic of heat tools, add volcanic/geothermal biomes referencing Shipwrecked

  1. Adjust heat tools to work the same way as obsidian items in Shipwrecked, requiring sustained geothermal heat to charge or maintain functionality.
  2. Add a volcanic geothermal zone, connected as an extension area at the bottom of caves (echoing the volcano map from Shipwrecked). This gives players a convenient underground geothermal spot, and also creates a corresponding geothermal counterpart at sea for easier heat resource access.

3. Optimize farm gameplay, add irrigation devices inspired by Hamlet

The current farm system lacks automatic maintenance tools. Add an automatic irrigation machine similar to the irrigation equipment from Hamlet, to reduce repetitive manual watering work and improve the late-game farming experience for all characters.

4. Rework Celestial Champion Descendant combat to boost fun, atmosphere and reward balance

  1. Redesign its combat mechanics with more moon-themed unique skills instead of just stacking raw HP/damage values; make every phase of the fight match the moon plane feature.
  2. Adjust the second-phase battle BGM: The current soundtrack lacks grand, epic atmosphere that fits a finale-level boss fight.
  3. Improve its loot table to fix unfair reward-to-effort ratio: Drop more Celestial Orbs, and unlock a new system that uses Celestial Orbs to upgrade all Brilliant gear for extra progression depth on the moon side.

    4. 全面重做天体后裔战斗,提升机制、配乐、掉落奖励三方面体验
       
      ① 战斗机制重做:设计更多贴合月亮位面特色的专属技能,不要单纯堆砌血量和伤害数值,增加战斗博弈感;
       
      ② 优化二阶段背景音乐:当前 BGM 单薄,完全撑不起终局 BOSS 的宏大决战氛围,需要调整编曲;
       
      ③ 重做掉落奖励:目前奖励性价比极低,付出和回报严重不对等。增加天体珠宝掉落数量,同时开放天体珠宝升级亮茄装备的养成系统,补齐月亮线专属养成玩法,平衡暗影线虚空装备的养成体系差距。
