cheeees
First the "Better together" imperative of recruiting Minnow, there are still texts that have the old version of the rewards Minnow gave you and needed. For example the mission at the abyss biome she asks for caviar, but the text still shows that you gave her squid ink. And the delivery errands priority stays there even after completing the tasks. Now this is subjective but Minnow's rewards feel underwhelming for sushi and caviar. Sushi needs material research and some preparation of the ingredients, getting a gasket at this point seems kinda useless considering a player would probably have latex and rubber production running and the gum palms seeds are welcome but just 2 seeds?? Same thing goes for caviar but is way worse, caviar is locked behind orbital data and the abyss biome it's at the bottom of the map, doing all that for 1 gasket is bad, can't think of other word to describe it. And speaking of Minnow, shouldn't she be similar to Jorge? They are both old duplicants that have been surviving on their own, they both need you to do tasks for them before recruiting them, and when Minnow is recruited she has no increased stats like Jorge, she spawns with her stats at 0 and Jorge spawns with his stats at +10. Similar to Jorge and both Frosty Planet Pack's and Prehistoric Planet Pack's missions. Minnow doesn't give anything that can be displayed on a pedestal or shelf when completing the imperative. And another thing that could make the Aquatic Planet Pack feel more aquatic™ and similar to the other DLC's would be to give the Marinea asteroids a water ring visible in space, similar to Ceres' auroras and Relica's Demolior's iridium ring. NanashiYoukai
Already reported the textual error here and EricKlei responded with Fixed. I do agree that Minnow is rather underwhelming as it is in the beta, she has the ability to hold her breath for an inordinate amount of time and starts with a free point in Swimming but isn't really good at doing anything else at all. Perhaps being talented at anything other than staying alive isn't a requirement for being a 'survivor'. Also, apart from the missing keepsake artifact, there is currently no video animation for rescuing Minnow, and there is no Steam achievement for completing the imperative, as would be typical for completing imperatives in the other DLCs, but I will quietly assume these will be added in the release version. Though I was really looking forward to the free artifact to finally convert the Great Hall into a Banquet Hall.
