Blueprints Remembered/Use Last Used Blueprint

I'm a returning player because of the Aquatic DLC in beta. 

I'm remembering how annoying it is that you have to always select your favorite blueprints for certain game items because the game does not remember this setting, yet the game can remember the last material I used for a tile, or pipe, or a wire, etc...

I am really liking the bubblegum patterned wire in the Aquatic DLC in beta. Sadly even though I select it, it doesn't always build with the blueprint and I can't draw the blueprint over top of the normal wires. So if the game remembered my last used setting for the bubblegum conductive wires, it would make the game much more enjoyable. Especially if this was applied to all items with blueprints. 

Also, I did check and it didn't seem like anyone suggested this specific suggestion. 

Please Please Please! Please make this part of the game in an update near every colony soon.
