ElleKay83 Posted yesterday at 11:44 AM Share Posted yesterday at 11:44 AM Hello, I really love the Don't Starve franchise—all of it, as Hamlet is one of my favorite DLCs. More like an aspect that it brings, and I want to suggest seriously thinking about bringing it to DST before you move on to DSE (Don't Starve Elsewhere). Housing! The ability to build a house, which won't reduce the role of tents, rolls, etc. Of course I love Swinesbury (haven't reached the Palace city yet) and the merchants, but they will be too much. I really hope that DST won't be abandoned because of DSE's multiplayer, but I guess that it will get fewer and fewer updates in the future (I hope that I am wrong), and what says better celebration for the franchise expansion than one huge house-building update? That would be a great addition to the base, as well as allow building different camps around the maps as well, using tents, like when some of us need to spawn the seasonal bosses away from their main base in the early game. You can build a house as a nod to Hamlet, which is great (despite the jungle and limited classic resource availability). Or why not even a pigs' town, on an island! But I think that building a house and having to use it for sanity recovery, etc., all functions and interior elements from DS Hamlet, is better. Can't wait to see DSE and what new survivors and stuff it will add to the series! Respect! P.s. Having a house won't make the game easy. I experienced it firsthand, but it's iconic. (The attached image is not mine; it's from the web. Just looks great!)
