Shouldn't the vulcanizer animation be reversed?

A vulcanizer is a machine that kneads latex into rubber using one fixed arm and two rotating arms. However, for kneading viscous latex, I believe the two arms are rotating in the wrong direction in the current in-game animation. Since soft latex tends to flow downward due to gravity, the arms should move in a direction that scoops it upward.
