i need help with something, I can't unravel clothes

For the past few updates, I've been having this problem where every time I try to unravel or sell clothes to farm yarn, I get an error message saying "Could not connect to Klei's server." After that, the game restarts and I can't do anything. I have a lot of clothes I want to sell to farm yarn, and I've already tried many things, including uninstalling and reinstalling the game. So now my only help is what you, wonderful forum people, can give me.

are you using mods? some mods are in conflict with the skin system because they use the skin system. turn your mods off and you should be fine

Pretty sure the Too many items (revisited) mod does this. It's pretty glitchy overall so you should use a different version if it's this mod that's causing problems
