Shadow rifts should be separate

If the new sanctum content is going to be required to reach the end of the shadow arc, I really don’t think you should be required to get any spark arks. The new shadow content should be accessible without needing to kill celestial champion or do anything with lunar rifts imo. I get the spark arks fit the lunar archive and sanctum, but it forces you to progress through most of the lunar questline. I’m sure they could come up with something else to activate the new encounter.

What’s the lore behind it? Did the ancients make it impossible to power, and Wagstaff’s invention bypasses it? How come there is a second generator?

The more i think about the implications the more i like it, it makes sense, the lore of the sanctum is the shadow faction of the ancient ones tricking the lunnar one into building this laberynth to forsake the key that holds the ultimate power of THEM. you are infiltrating this lunnar temple using their tools to get the key and confront the shadows.

I think its a really cool setting, but i would apreciate more shadowy darksided areas and visuals for the last update

Yeah, I'm starting to see the flaw here... the shadow content needing lunar components is silly no matter how much it fits.
