wedunn516
Intro I know Wormwood Is not a frequently used character on Don't starve Together but, he is my personal favorite. However, I feel that the lunar Guardian skills are a bit difficult to achieve on other worlds even when you have already defeated the celestial champion on one already. The Problem I am currently attempting to defeat the celestial champion to achieve the lunar guardian skills for wormwood, but it feels pointless. In order to use these skills, you need to equip the Brightshade armor and weapons. If you don't know, in order to even get the brightshade set you need to defeat the CC. Therefore it means that in every world you play in, if you even you already have beaten the CC (Celestial Champion) in one world, you must defeat the CC in the other world, which as we know, is a lengthy process. The Solution Now, I'm not saying we need to adjust something. I just think that there may need to be another upgrade for the player when defeating the CC to make it more desirable for the player. My Idea for Wormwood My idea, would be to add a transformation upgrade for wormwood. It would have similar gameplay to woodie's transformation to the Weremoose, but with minor changes. This would allow the player to play more offensive as wormwood and ultimately making that whole process of the CC, worth it. The transformation would be obtainable from either a full moon, or adding an unique item that is crafted only by wormwood. In order to craft it, the player would need 3 compost wraps, 5 lunar shards, and 3 monster meat. The transformation would result with a larger more monstrous wormwood with lunar shards as spikes on his back. This would turn the players health from 150 to 200 with increased armour, and increasing damage to 60. The transformation itself would last 5 minutes for the player, and would have a cooldown of 10 minutes. The player would lose 75% of their sanity. The animation would be similar to when the player creates living logs, but instead of breaking it, it takes control of wormwood. During the animation the player would see the spikes on the back appear and claws forming from his hands. Conclusion If you have made it this far, I thank you for taking your time and reading this. This is just simply my idea and why I want this, so take what you will of it. I would love to see an Idea of mine in the game that I thoroughly enjoy playing with friends and family.
