Once we get used to the various planetoids in the game patterns emerge. Sulphur geysers always exist on a flipped asteroid, the Quagmiris always has a lot of polluted water and metal volcanoes, ect; Having predictable biomes is fine, but the geysers/vents could use a little variety, even if it's just a standalone planetoid type that is random. I remember a REALLY challenging mode in the minibase mod where the starting biome was a mix of various material hardnesses, starting food was hard to gather, and I had to race to randomly determined animals and plants to save them for ranching/cultivation (I play without supply drops, which is why this was so tense).

I would really like to see a challenging asteroid which has:
-a randomly determined confetti mosaic of all available elements (along with hardnesses so that the early game feels really confined and resources are scarce),
-randomly (either completely or variable to alternatives,  determined animals and plants (which are somewhat rare so that they are valuable)
-and finally, completely random geysers/vents (so it's harder to determine broadly what's on the planetoid before even looking at it especially if they can't be detected from orbit, which could be a feature of this planetoid).
