Suggestion - Petition to Increase Ambience Volume

Considering the fact that an option to manually adjust the intensity of background noise in-game now exists, I would like to propose that the volume of ambient sounds be increased back to the levels from the original Don't Starve. 

I personally enjoy this game's sound design a lot, so I think it's a shame that the unique audio that plays in each biome is barely audible now, even when set to maximum. And since I haven't been able to find any mods that would revert this change, I am posting my request in this subforum.

You've certainly got my vote.

The drastically reduced ambient sounds is part of the reason I've pretty much given up on Don't Starve Together, opting instead to continue with the single-player version of the game. Numerous nerfs and alterations have drained away all the appeal of Don't Starve Together for me. That changes like these and others couldn't have been left in the hands of players as items in the options or world generation menus confounds and disappoints me.

I also love the ambience and would love to be able to turn it up. I spend a lot of time decorating base so being able to immerse myself a little more would be lovely.
