I feel this is crucial, so I wanted to make a dedicated topic to express my thoughts.

For the four years between 2022 and 2026, the 6-slot circuit system was WX's only core character concept. However, we WX mains found true joy in that playstyle—constantly swapping and building our circuits to adapt to any situation. We have loved the circuit system, and only the circuit system, to this day.

It's no exaggeration to say that anyone who has loved WX all this time was really in love with the circuit system itself.

So, to see the Affinities replaced by mechanics that have nothing to do with that original character concept feels almost like a betrayal to veteran WX mains.

As someone who has mained WX-78 for years, I have always believed in the potential of the circuit system and had so much fun experimenting with it. But now, it feels like the Affinity skills—which should have been the ultimate highlight of the skill tree—have been completely hijacked by these chassis skills that just popped out of nowhere.

Please. If the dev team has even a little bit of time or resources left, I'm begging you to add Affinity Gamma circuits for our beloved WX. Please.

While I get the idea of wanting circuits behind the affinities, I feel it'd be more disappointing than interesting. There are multiple things that go into the strength of the Gamma circuits and if the affinity circuits were too powerful or just generally better, I feel like you'd end up having a problem where you won't feel a need to switch the loadouts. This is already somewhat a problem with the Gamma circuits as most of them are too niche or are just generally much better that once you get them switching doesn't really come up besides specific applications. The way the affinities are do a decent enough job at promoting circuit build diversity, at least lunar. Lunar gives you the ability to kit out multiple clones with circuits letting you kit out more for specific scenarios compared to just kitting out yourself. Shadow, while a little weaker in that regard, still has ways you can work with those circuits considering the more automation centered the auto grabber drones are in Backup Chassis, especially with Warm Standby. The biggest problem I feel is just that there is a lack of interesting circuits for the varying types and the ones that do exist can sometimes have pretty limited uses. If balanced better, with maybe a couple of new circuits outside of affinities, then I think people would be more inclined to switch out what they have instead of picking out easy general enough builds.

Eh, at the moment, people seems to just want to run spin circuit as soon as they have unlocked it, so adding some more gamma circuits seems like it would be an improvement.

Any added circuits would have to be improbably strong to make someone *never* want to use spin circuit. Doesn't seem an issue in practice, i.m.o.

アフィニティ回路が強すぎたり、全体的に優れていたりすると、ロードアウトを考慮する必要性を感じなくなるという問題が起きるでしょう。

Affinities are called Affinities exactly because they are overpowered! Look at other characters—their Affinities are so strong they're practically mandatory, and almost everyone runs them. Plus, let's be real, in the late game, most players just stick to their one favorite loadout anyway. I do agree that the existing Gamma circuits are too niche, though. I completely understand where you're coming from, but man, I just wanna fire my laser beam haha!

I'm definitely all for adjusting the Gamma circuits. However, the current lack of diversity is a fundamental issue with the existing Gamma circuits themselves. Adding new Affinity circuits is a completely separate matter.
