Even if we don't get the old AoE back, I have a suggestion that could mitigate the current issues. Instead of sending all 4 drones to a single enemy, we could send one drone per target. When you attack an enemy, one drone attaches to it and stays until it dies or you leave the fight. This would solve the focus issues during boss fights with minions. As for the damage, each drone could provide a percentage boost equal to (number of active drones) x 6%. Since only one drone goes per target, these wouldn't stack on a single enemy.
