Ralsei11 Posted April 27 Share Posted April 27 (edited) I know this affinity is still a work in progress, but I just wanted to share my idea for it. So instead of the drones making you do more damage to targets, make each drone permanent and latch (as in they would constantly attack and follow it untill it dies, thing gnat swarms in hamlet) on to your most recent target, doing 20% ( or less if it turns out to be op) of your current base weapon damage (if you weapon does for example 50 damage and 20 planar damage each drone would deal 10 damage and 4 planar damage, so it does both 20% of the regular damage and 20% of the planar) per drone at the same rate as a players attack player. Also keep them invincible. Another change would be to cap the drones at 2 for nightmare fule and 4 for the shadow atrium ( maybe even 5 for the possessed atrium but I'm not sure how balanced that would be) This makes it similar to the lunar affinity but different enough to where it's good Pros: constant damage (even when the possessed chassis would need to kite), minions can't die, minions don't need gear/ food, better early game Cons: less dps, can't tank hits for you, can't have circuits. Also this concept isn't considering the other parts of the affinity because they feel so random and to justify this change I would probably remove some (eg the nightmare fuel effect) if not all. Also that can attack in separate attacks (1 per drone) or as one attack with one cooldown.
