Ideas for the New Development of Shadow WX

Nightmare fuel can only burn for 30 seconds without any additional functions, and cannot restore any power during the burning period. It can only be used as an emergency shelter (if you have just been resurrected or are facing rain). If you cannot quickly find a way to restore power, you will need to consume 16 Nightmare fuels per day until you are out of danger.It needs to be improved.

Actually, the nightmare fuel effect lasts for 20 seconds.

Thank you for correcting. An error occurred while manually reading the seconds. However, it does not affect the key issue that the meaning of nightmare fuel is unclear

it would be cool if eating nf or ph would either increase the wetness limit or decrease wetness gain (covering yourself with shadow liquid like shadow umbrella).
This would let wx players not depend on clothing that much and would make these materials more valuable for them.

Also it would be good if eating more shadow materials in short time would also increase max duration, give more buff and also gave much harsher drawbacks.

Shadow state with waterproofing is indeed a good idea

Waterproof clothes exist.

Eating nightmare fuel while also needing shadow affinity and plugged hearth for it could be balanced.

Like 20 seconds for 1 nightmare fuel or 60 seconds for 1 pure horror is a fair price.

I think consuming nightmare fuel temporarily buffing the inserted circuits / unlocking alternate circuit effects is a lot cooler than waterproofing.

Waterproofing feels boring to me.

I’d rather the drones get like shadow missles or something instead of 20 percent debuff 20 percent additional damage .

Perhaps it's possible. But currently, it seems that Klei is not very interested in these ideas. They are still obsessed with drones.
