ShreWdMan Posted 10 hours ago Share Posted 10 hours ago So, the new changes to the shadow skill are pretty disappointing (basically a weaker version of the old affinity with extra steps), but I think the newly added ability to eat nightmare fuel for a temporary super charge could be the saving grace to make the new version both stronger and more interesting the the previous one. They could execute ideas like making it temporary buff circuits or drones with special abilities. These are just some rough draft ideas. Blocking circuit: For the next few seconds blocked hits will send attackers into a panic. Sonic Invoker: Scares for longer and can scare shadow creatures. Chessmaster: This might be a weird one but temporarily turning friendly clockworks into friendly shadow pieces that regain their metal exterior after time's up. Eating nightmare fuel Grants temporary buff to drones with special abilities. Pure horror: Keep same effects that are currently in the beta branch. Eating pure horror grants temporary buff to gamma circuits. Shadow Atrium: Keep same effects that are currently in the beta branch. Extend the Duration of supercharge. Possessed Shadow Atrium: Keep same effects that are currently in the beta branch. Drastically Extend the Duration of supercharge. Eating nightmare fuel or pure horror grants temporary buff to gamma circuits and gives drones special abilities. This implements progression, The possessed Shadow atrium will be the final upgrade, gaining all the previous effects and making it worth choosing.
