Klei give me hope elsewhere will be on console!

The entire series is on console so best educated guess is there's a 99% chance this one is too 

 

The bigger concern is switch sometimes pays to get indie games as switch exclusives (or timed exclusives) so potentially Playstation and Xbox players could miss out  for a period of time 

 

Of course the next Xbox will be out by the time this game launches, and that's a pc hybrid so eitherway the pc version should work on that 

I guess the TLDR is this games almost certainly going to be on console 

The bigger concern should be how long after the pc release will it come out, and if there's any timed exclusivity

I am pretty sure Elsewhere will be on consoles, though I do wish instead of being hush hush about it Klei would at the very least reveal details on what platforms they intend to release the game on. (I only own a Series S so if I need to start saving up NOW for a Helix or whatever it’s gonna be called… I need to know these things way in advance.)

I would like to now kindly request that the Klei development team do me one small.. (but possibly very impactful) favor when it comes to Don’t Starve Elsewhere.

If they have any plans to EVER release DSE on Consoles, then they should add a Store Page for it on the Xbox Store so that when people search the store for “Don’t Starve” or “Klei Entertainment” Elsewhere also shows up in the list.

To clarify further, a game doesn’t even have to have an announced release date to be searchable on the Xbox Store it just has to be confirmed that it’s going to aim to come out on that platform.

Such as for example Cassette Beasts 2!

As you can see there’s no release date & it’s marked as Not Currently Available, but there’s Details on the game, Screenshots & a Trailer and anyone searching the store for Cassette Beasts or it’s DLC can be excited a brand new entry is coming sometime later in the future! ♥️

(I really want to see Elsewhere get seen and noticed as much as possible to drive up pre-orders and wishlists)

I have several games on my Xbox wishlist that may not ever actually come out & eventually end up cancelled, but Wishlisting them reminds me to start saving up my money so that IF they ever do come out I can get them the day they release! 🫶🏻♥️😎👍🏻
