Isn't it strange to anyone that one can't control whether the followers follow or wait in place? What kind of followers would stick to their masters from morning till night? Even when cooking or ploughing, they huddle together. Doesn't anyone find it in the way?

They are called followers for a reason and not followers and stayers

"Follower" is a general term that can represent those entities that have stupid ai and are inflexible in following.

As for "stayers", I think it can represent those who are complacent and willing to fall behind. Yes, I'm referring to the Houndius Shootius

In a previous post, I mentioned this, and a comment gave me a great suggestion: when you click on your clones, they should give you a skill wheel, like the ones other characters have, but with this wheel, you could execute commands for your clones. You could guide them from point A to point B, make them stay still, have them follow you again, or perform a specific task (depending on the tool). You could also make them aggressive or have them stay permanently in one place until you move them or make them followers again. This way, you could leave them doing specific tasks while you go somewhere else.

If developers could have paid attention to these good suggestions, we should have had a more pleasant gaming experience

I personally have a problem with Moon Affinity, and it's that they're perhaps giving WX too much power; it's literally "Don't Starve Together Alone." But on the other hand, they're not doing it very well (the clones are very dim and require a lot of patience). I personally feel they should have made a separate robot that could be modified directly from the chassis to create a Moonbot, one that couldn't be modified and had more limited interactions that were easier to coordinate or program. But with a clone... well, in theory they do everything, but you can't guide them, so they're really only good as cannon fodder against bosses and for farming wood, which Spin Cycle already does wonderfully on its own. They're not even mobile inventories, so Spatializer isn't useful on them, and there are a thousand other interactions that really make them feel incomplete for what they're supposed to be.

You know? I wish that affinity had two skills per affinity: one dedicated to yourself, independent of the affinity, and a specialty, like the clones with the moon, or something with drones for shadows, but that both have something related to circuits as another skill.

I think they had high expectations when designing this skill, just as you said, to make their behaviors infinitely close to those of players. But the time is too short and the tasks are too heavy. It's still too forced to solve all the problems within one week.

Just like now, some of its behaviors are still very strange: when burned by flames, it will always stand in the flames. Being attacked, always standing there foolishly to be beaten, randomly releasing sound waves and blocking, the individual lacks distinguishable features...... There are too many problems. After today's update, they can't even eat food anymore.

These issues should have been taken seriously and more time should have been spent on testing. But now, I don't know their attitude towards these problems either. After all, they are going to be launched in a rush tomorrow. I have put forward many suggestions to improve their shortcomings, but now I just feel that all my efforts have been ignored

And you're right.

Actually, I made a post about how it takes time to really do this right, and that simply releasing the new circuit system, instead of the skill tree, would suffice. The skill tree is clearly very controversial and divisive (especially given the substantial amount of discussion in that post), and it's also deficient in many aspects, particularly the affinities. There are a huge number of things that patches alone won't fix; they even removed the shadow upgrade to redo it.

That says a lot.

There are so many good suggestions in the suggestion section and the Beta section. Every time developers release announcements, there are also many people offering good suggestions under them. But do they really care? Will they really notice? I don't know. They seldom interact with these players. Do they really know what the players need? Are they loyal players of their own game? Will the opinions they collect on various video platforms appear on their screens?

I can't help but think of Redigit and his Terraria. At least, Redigit often plays its own games and frequently communicates with players, while here, there is only a pile of buried inspirations and a group of neglected users
