I don't think this solves the issue tho. Now you have to carry a thermal stone for a thing that's probably unintended?

But this mechanic has been around for years ever since WX's rework. How could people not know about this?

The idea is that the Thermal Circuit heats up the thermal stone in your inventory, and the thermal stone then cools WX down a bit in return.

not vital suggestions for clones:

refuel miner's hat mb.
and other things like light-amulet, bone armor.

auto swap to walking cane.

rowing in same direction.

problem with ai it is never enough, i hope modders will be able to tune it.

And also digging, watering, fishing, and lowering sails.

Are we talking about the same thing? I was referring to thermal circuit making you go 0 degrees. You don't take damage but it still applies the freezing overlay which makes you scared for nothing.

Oh right, you were talking about that — I misunderstood.

Devs, could we get some ui like this one for the chasis and even for the lunar affinity tan you can access without turning off the clones? It would be lovely to be able to see all things equiped, stats and circuits pls

Awesome! Go make a separate post to show it off quickly.

Being able to acces the inventory of a possesed back up bodies seems like a necesary thing, so then we can have them carry the items we plan for them to use, and manually select what they need to wear at which moment. Also if we get them to repair/refuel their items, it would be amazing giving them orange amulets and a stack of nightmare fuel and just have 3 autopickers when farming/fighting.

Finally, would it be posible giving a thought to aditional back up bodies thro affinities:

And for the love of god catch some sleep, hotfixes are droping while i am having breakfast i am seriously concerned of your health guys. :wilson_love:

Here's a few things i personally would like to see: Being able to change circuits of an inactive chassis without having to transfer into them. You could like hover the Circuit Extractor on the chassis and right click and it would open the chassis menu for that chassis and then you could swap and remove stuff. I also would like if Possessed Chassises atleast tried to catch a boomerang they threw.

Gamma circuits works really nice in my yesterday 30days boss rush run.

Sonic circuit is useful on many situations. It works well on BQ, spider queen,Klaus , walrus camp and many more mobs.

Nutrition circuit is meh, but it’s a good filler b4 you got access to spin circuit. Or you can use them on your reanimated chassis, since other 3 circuit doesn’t really work well on them.

Spin circuit is META, no need to explain.

Block circuit is good in multiplayer, you don’t need to keep using it, just use it b4 getting attack. But still the worst one imo.

IDK why ppl keep complaining about them

because there's only four circuits?

The temperature filter issue can actually be fixed just by carrying a thermal stone, so it doesn’t really need to be changed. After all, the night vision circuit also requires skill tree upgrades to remove its filter.
Auto-pickup is really annoying though — it keeps picking up junk randomly. It’s super frustrating for players like me who care about inventory management.

I think it could be changed so they only perform the same actions as the player: whatever the player picks up, the shadows pick up; whatever the player gathers, the shadows gather.

it's better if we gain the ability to turno on/off that, because if klei do like you said, we will not be able to collect cactus without take damage

The Shadow Affinity still neds some more love, like upgrades for Pure Horror, Dreadstone, Dark Tatters, and maybe even Icker Jars. I have some ideas for possible effects.

Active Chassis Effects:

  • A boost to working speed when breaking down trees/rocks/structures. A shadow aura could swirl around the thing you're breaking, doubling the damage of your hits. This would both speed up your efforts, and save durability, kinda akin to Mighty Wolfgang.
  • A raw Planar Defense and/or Damage boost.
  • A chance to spawn Shadow Tentacles when attacking. This chance stacks with the Thulecite Club's chances.
  • On damage, spray Icker slime at enemies, slowing them down for a short while (this would be the Icker Jar upgrade).

Inactive Chassis Effects:

  • A defensive turret function, that shoots bolts of shadow magic at nearby non-friendly mobs.
  • A scare-aura that frightens most mobs from going near the chassis.
  • A repair function that slowly restores durability of tools and armor in the chassis' inventory.

And one Active+Inactive Chassis Synergy Effect:

  • A bootleg Lazy Deserter. If both the Active and an Inactive Chassis have the same item in their Shadow Circuit slot, the Active chassis can teleport to the Inactive Chassis at will. This should be a fairly strong item, like the Possessed Shadow Atrium, or the like.

guys i think u really overcomplicated things A LOT
like 10 new ui? support for all the equipment? more backup bodies?
i get that devman do that for themselves, but god please chill out

I understand that managing the lunar part is difficult. But I can think of two solutions:

option to open them like chester(i dont think that there gonna be a problem)

or option to get ur geshtalts back, so u can posses them and all the things. (but there we have problem with stats of clones, which gonna refresh i guess)

and The Shadow Affinity need one more fun feature, because it's a bit bland compared to the lunar side.
i like how Walter got such a distinctive Affinitys, maybe WX can open mini rifts? and change floor type to Fumarole for example, like just one tile, and some effect.

i guess i didnt want new feature and now I suggest a new one...

the lunar affinity bots forget how to dodge with you when you take spin cycle. they just hold it until they go dizzy and facetank

i guess thats intended, like they need to finish spin attack. and i dont think that needs to change

These are really good changes but I still feel that it’s a hefty amount of upkeep and setup to gear yourself up and multiple other yous while also feeding yourself and your robots and having to get gestalts to posses them in the first place. Maybe I’m wrong though.

Well the value is pretty extreme, I mean all you really have to do is make a couple of football helmets, a hambat, and throw some jerky in their inventory. I wouldnt mind having a clone around just for everyday casual tasks, whenever I have excess food, and they shred bosses

This is the Scrapbook description for the Beanbooster circuit. What does the very last sentence mean? Is that new, or has that always been a thing?

I think it means that if an attack does 100 damage, and you have 15 or more honey shield, the excess damage the shield couldn't block doesent go to your health and is ignored. But if your shield is below 15, the 100 damage would bleed through to your health. It will help when you get a suprise hit while wearing an eyebrella or something

from my additional testing they only attack once when you use spin cycle and they don not have it. they also do not attack when you are blocking which would be the ideal time for them to attack
