GimplyGoose
First off, I just want to say that this creating a bunch of clones is such a cool concept and what has been implemented so far is great. The "monkey see, monkey do" way of playing actually works really well! There are a couple of areas that I think there is room for improvement. Maybe this is already planned for when the visual FX are added later, but I think there should be some kind of feedback for when the possessed chassis are low on hunger, sanity, or especially health. I'm sort of imagining that a gestalt will be enveloping the possessed chassis and when sanity is low, maybe it is dimmer or flickers. When health is low maybe sparks are emitted periodically? I'm not sure about what to do with hunger. The stomach rumbling is potentially good enough for that, but I think something more thematic would work too. It would be nice if the possessed chassis used the Block Circuit and Sonic-Invoker Circuit a little more smartly. Maybe if a block circuit is installed on a possessed chassis it will attempt to use those circuits instead of attacking instead of when they are idle? Being able to access their inventory while they are active would be very helpful especially now that they can re-equip after an item breaks. If their inventory becomes accessible, it would also be nice if they mimicked a few other actions like picking grass/twigs or picking up items off of the ground. Maybe it is too much to ask for, but being able to use a circuit extractor on them while they are active to manage their circuits would also be nice. Even if it was only in a "read-only" state it would be better. If you set up a possessed chassis with the wrong circuits, it is a very cumbersome process to correct it. If you just want to know what circuits it currently has active, you have to work off of memory, which is not the best. 3 Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/170844-lunar-vessel-feedback/ Share on other sites
