Currently, the possessed chassis feels incredibly clunky and impractical to use.

My proposal is very simple: they need to completely remove the hunger mechanic for the possessed chassis, and replace the Sanity stat with Enlightenment.

Since when do Warbots need to eat food? They don't. And why on earth would a Gestalt ever have to worry about losing its Sanity...?

The way it currently works is just completely baffling.

Agree, lunar affinity rn is too annoying to use.

I kinda know the elite soldiers concept that klei try to demonstrate.

But right now,1 wx is not really stronger than 2 merm guardians, and take much much more resource and time to recruit.

Even if you place 7 slot on hardy, they still only got 450 health. Not to mention that you need to keep 3 stats above 0

It is of course very convenient to eliminate hunger, but I think the probability of them doing so is very small. According to my understanding of klei, they won't allow players to enjoy all the positive effects without paying the price.

However, you can pay attention to my suggestions. If they adopt them, they will solve the vast majority of problems

getting the gestalts to the chassis is my biggest gripe, the armor+weapons+circuits investment is not enough you gotta go to the lunar island, build a chassi, get it possessed for 12 biodata and come back to the main land and every TP you set is -1 clone anyways... its very annoying.

If there was easier and more accesssible way of traping gestalts without the phasmo net, then having hunger and sanity would not be an issue, because they only turn into inactive chassis and you will be able to reactive them with full stats.

You can build a backup chassis on lunar ,prototype a chassis in your crafting tab, tp to there whenever ur clones meet their demise and build the chassis down.

Being able to reuse the receptor thing kinda fix all the problem lunar affinity once got

if you notice your minion is starving you can just bring it straight to lunar island, punch it to deactivate it, then immediately possess it again. With a gsatrogain circuit you only gotta do it every couple days, and that's only assuming you plan on using the minions 24/7.

That became possible after the transfer module became infinite use. It'll fill up its hp and sanity too while also ensuring that your minions will keep their circuits since it's not dying away from lunar island.

At that point though I'd still way rather just remove the hunger drain

Dang, never thought of that.
Btw how long will a bot last with 1 big gastron circuit?

since the bots dont carry over the super gastrogain buff from the skill tree, assuming nothing has changed about bot hunger drain it'd probably be around 3 and a half days

it should usually be enough time for whatever you need the bots for, the bigger pain is maintaining the planar bots

I can appreciate that WX gives us the ability to essentially multibox as a character, which comes with the same drawbacks as managing stats of each character, but I can also see why people wouldn't want to deal with it. Tbh I just kind of wish we had a shrunken UI for their stats or something to keep track easier, but idk

Spoiler

there is definitely a lot that went into this and from the looks of it they aren't done yet. it has really shaped up to be a super cool perk so far

1meaty stew isn’t that expensive anyway

Btw, it's reduce hunger drain without skilltree

after writing this post i booted the game up and the receptor was reusable lol, only annoying part now is realocating the dead chassis.

I just came up with a great idea.

Logically, the possessed Gestalt should initially be hostile towards WX. What if we had a mechanic where WX has to duel and subjugate the Gestalt before it can be used as a minion?

If you want a powerful clone loaded with strong circuits, you have to fight and defeat that powerful clone first. It creates a perfect, player-driven 'risk vs. reward' system.

And best of all? There is absolutely no need to feed food to a defeated loser.

You can hammer it down and use transport drones to send circuit to lunar island. You just need a chassis on lunar to transfer your consciousness there.

I hate Wendy players. 24/7 yapping about their skill tree on forums meanwhile Wilson, Wolfgang, Wigfrid skill tree exist. Annoying af ngl.

I mean you can reset their stats by tp back to lunar and kill them manually.

Maybe Klei make them expensive to resummon on purpose so we need to manage their stats more carefully since they are quite strong rn

yeah guys with wendy pfp are lowkey yappers, i remember one doing a bible sized post on why dst SHOULD collab with fortnite lol. about the skill tree, in my case God blessed me with a wendy main who doesnt yap and actually teached me to appreciate the WX skill tree more (he made my opinion on gamma circuits go from negative to positive) i really gotta thank him for being an exception to wendy mains tho

address me

I don't really think so, if you put in two cold circuits and a couple of meatballs, they can last a long time without food, not to mention the fact that WX can eat spoiled food

I understand removing sanity, but you can just give them tam o' shanters and swap them out for armor when you want to fight.

Yeah Idk who decided that giving his minions 3 stats that need babysitting is good when they are just worse than every other minion in the game (besides spiders).

It feels annoying, clunky and unfun to use. Why even pick Lunar to play a minion character when Maxwell, Wendy, Wurt and Willow all start off with a better minion?
