doritosdamafia Posted April 6 Share Posted April 6 I think the effects that the circuits get from the upgrade skills gonna probably be chance, some of them will chance because they got gutted other for basically been dependent of another skill or just for the reason that it not good enough, so why not give my two cents to enter the debate and give some ideas. Let's begin with the alpha circuits; HARDY CIRCUIT and SUPER HARDY CIRCUIT: the effect that few from grace and is almost useless now, my idea is simple for the first upgrade skill, increase the healing gained from food by 20%/15%/5% for super and 10%(1)/5%(2-4)/1.5%(5-7) for the normal, the second skill is basically a life steal by 15%/10%/5% for super and 7.5%(1)/2.5%(2-4)/1%(5-7) for the normal, the reason for that would be because to get the super hardy we need to scan a nurse spider, which have the gimmick of being able to heal herself and allies, because wx don't like the organics them will not share the healing. SUPER/PROCESSING CIRCUIT: increase the flat amount of sanity gain from all sources by 25%/15%/10% for the super and 15%(1)/2.5%(2-4)/2%(5-7) for the normal, the second upgrade flips things a little, when above 50% max sanity increases the insanity auras effects by 0% up to 10%/25%/50% for super and 2.5%(1)/5%(2-4)/7.5%9(5-7) for normal based on how much sanity you have and decrease the effects of sanity auras by 0% up to 10%/25%/50% for super and 2.5%(1)/5%(2-4)/7.5%9(5-7) for normal the same way, but if you are bellow 50% max sanity it's flips the update effect, instead of increasing the insanity aura it decreases and vice-versa, the justification for that is in my opinion, having your sanity in the middle normally is the best choice, because you don't need to use much resources to became insane our sane. BEANBOOSTER: the circuit already have a pretty good effect, klei just need to rollback the regeneration nerf, and maybe buff the max hp shield % to be 25% or 30% to compensate the indirect nerf with the super/hardy circuits nerf. SUPER/GASTROGAIN CIRCUIT: the first upgrade is the same, increase the the % of the huger drain slow but ad a decrease effect similar with the speed circuit, for second upgrade i think a over feeding "meter" would be good, for super and normal circuit you could have 25%/15%/10% and 10%(1)/3%(2-4)/2%(5-7) of your max hunger s a meter that's let you stuff yourself more, but that's extra huger meter don't are affected by the hunger slow. Now comes the Beta circuits; CHORUSBOX CIRCUIT: the one band effect for the first upgrade is good, but for the second i would give a work efficience aura for fallowers and players nearby, with this chomping and mining will be faster. SUPER/ACCELERATION CIRCUIT: being able to not be affected by the slow of statues, marble and pigback is good, so for the second upgrade it could be wilbur "run" perk which is just, go in a straight line for 10 seconds and gain 25% more speed for the price of increasing the speed of hunger drain by 25%, more circuits would decrease the time by 8/4 seconds for the second and third circuits. THERMAL CIRCUIT: it's the same as the last two, they already have a good effect, so let's give it a second upgrade, my idea is to make wx being able to cook food, them became a barbecue grill, that's it, i gonna transform wx in a texan. REFRIGERANT CIRCUIT: i not gonna repeat myself, second upgrade upgrade should just decrease the ice making threshold by 25, so with 2 circuits you can make ice being 45 wet, maybe even increase the amount of ice to be four instead of 2. ELECTRIFICATION CIRCUIT: revert the nerfs, the second upgrade will increase the odds of a thunder hitting you during combat, if this happens, create a temporary field of electrical discharge, almost like a explosion with less damage but more rage. OPTOELECTRONIC CIRCUIT: there's nothing to do here. SUPER/ILLUMINATION CIRCUIT: second upgrade will be just a increase of the light around wx to be similar with a lantern with 25% fuel. RANGEBOOSTER CIRCUIT: this is so whatever that e gonna give only one, make wx get resources nearby, like i getting berries, because of that upgrade i can take automatically collect the berries from bushes nearby, the range would be 3 wall units. SPARTIALIZER CIRCUIT: give the ability of preserving animals or food forever inside for the first upgrade and for the second is the wheleer compass, the slot gain the ability to tell the direction of the closer item that's stored inside it. Because the gammas circuits still in developing our with missing function i will not do them This is some of my ideas, for the circuits, to end this post i will tell my vision for the faction skills Both of them give the same, more damage against the side you choose and you takes less damage from them, but you can eat theirs respective fuels to gain a temporary overcharge The shadow side let you eat pure horror or nightmare fuel, they give respectfully 15 and 10 seconds of overcharge and reduce you sanity by 50 and 25 each, at a cap limit of 30 seconds, after reach the time limit, you have a 20 seconds cooldown, which if you try to eat more it will start a animation of wx almost fainting from too much energy, during overcharge all your circuits will increase their base and upgrade effects by 25% if you use nightmare fuel and 50% for pure horror, the effect ends after the time ends or you are above 30% max sanity the lunar side let you eat pure brilliance or infused moon shard, they give respectfully 15 and 10 seconds of overcharge and increase you sanity by 50 and 25 each, at a cap limit of 30 seconds, after reach the time limit, you have a 20 seconds cooldown, which if you try to eat more it will start a animation of wx almost fainting from too much energy, during overcharge and above 70% max sanity you receive the power of the gestalts, between 70% and 80% max sanity your attack will make the enemy more slower by 5% up to 25% by 4 seconds, between 81% and 90% the enemies affected by the previous debuffs also starts to attack slower by 10% up to 40% by the same amount of time, by 91% up to 100% max sanity wx gains accumulative attack speed to a limit of 50%, being 5 second without attacking will reset the buff, overcharge ends if the player sanity is below 70% max sanity our the time runs out 1 Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/170546-new-ideas-for-the-circuits-skills/ Share on other sites More sharing options...
