  1. 1. Addin a Camouflage gamma circuit that you can activate on command could be fun?

    • Yes, it would add to the diversity of circuit choices.

Hi, well the idea is simple a gamma circuit that let you turn invisible during 1 minut and during that time you can attack or do whatever you want to enemies and they can't attack back cause they dont know where you are, and of course after that min the perk goes on a cooldown,

You know gamma circuits and the activation on click opens a world of possibilities so right now i think a circuit that lets you do damage to enemies while they can't attack back for a solid min then it gets on cooldown is a great idea but what do you think?

I love it, but the 1 min is too long for invis that stays even if you move or attack.
Either make it shorter or make it reveal you when you attack something.

Klei can reduce the amount of time maybe 30 seconds? cause reveling yourself after the first hit could make the whole point of the circuit fall.

Well, the current methods of hiding in DST makes you stay still, hiding under a bush or snail armor.

I chose No not because it's useless but because it's too useful. You know 1 minute free attacking with 51 dmg weapon will deal 6700+ dmg right? I think any action except moving should break the invisible state, or at least make you visible for period of time before turn invisible again. Then it can be used for exploring some dangerous place like ruins without being attacked( and not able to attack others for free).

Plus I don't see what creature to scan to unlock it.

Well klei can either reduce the time to 15 seconds or less or make it be infinite but the moment you hit something you become visible again.

Rictus

Oh RIGHT, they can blend too.

That's...kinda too late to me. I was thinking the first trip to ruins. If it needs Rictus to unlock I think it will be a Emergency Escape to me when in some extreme situations.

If its gonna be obtainable by Rictus, then it could be more powerful, if you could get it early, then it would be op for scanning hostile creatures like dragonfly.

Making yourself invisible wouldnt mean enemies have no ways to detect you.
Of course if you attack them then they'd know you're there, but they should also be able to hear you, distnace from the target and how fast you're moving could determine how acuratly they know your position, having the chorus box would obviouslt make a lot of noise, but active light refridgerent or thermal circuits could also give your positin away.

It would be a little messy when attacking cretaures tht normally alrert others, but i think a mix of what i wrote + temporarily becoming visible when attacking or getting hit would work for a camafloage/invisibility circuit

That's not how the bush hat works or the slime helmet.

Also implementing this whole stealth system just for 1 character seems overkill.

It seems cool, but I get the feeling that another character down the line would have something like this, feels like a Maxwell skill tree thing to me.

Using a spell to engulf himself in shadow and then popping out and doing a shadow dash like his clones for extra damage.

For Wx... meh I'm not really seeing it (pun not intended), @Cuernito. you mentioned I believe some where else that other fantasy robots seem to have a stealth or cloak, do you have any examples because I can't seem to think of any and I love robots a lot so that's odd for me.

DUDE THIS CIRCUIT ACTUALLY EXISTS AS A TAPE IN THE WANDERING DRONE MOD!!! It makes you translucent, enemies cannot target you but you can target them, but it only lasts for a few seconds, like, 10-15 I think. I've used it and it's never felt overpowered or useless because the tape is actually pretty expensive to craft.

I think if the time you get to be invisible in combat was something like 12 seconds it would be a fantastic addition to the otherwise quite lame Gamma Circuits.

I like the idea of a geothermite scan giving you 10 seconds and then a rictus giving you a super circuit for 25 seconds, both with a 1 minute cooldown. With multiple plugged in it should recharge faster, or maybe you have to have two plugged in to be able to attack and remain camouflaged. That or it just takes up 4 circuit slots to equip, so you can't equip two at once. I really really like this circuit idea. You're still vulnerable for a minute afterwards so you'd still need to bring armor and dodge if you were in a boss fight, so I don't think it'd be overpowered, just really good. Characters are allowed to be really good sometimes.

This also compliments the current upgraded circuit themes:
Alpha Circuits are upgraded for a size increase and a power increase.
Beta Circuits are upgraded for a size decrease and their power remains the same.
Gamma circuits are upgraded for just a power increase, with no changes to the size.

Well if we talk about pure robots i think jack from Gears of War is the perfect example but i have to admit that maybe there is not much pure robots with this ability, the T-1000 from the terminator 2 movie can cloack too but he is an android not a robot at all.

I might have given upvotes it if you didn’t give this description.

i imagine fit would have just been a slightly better bush hat which would be usable, but what you suggested is basically cheating.
