Right now, in the gamma type we have: a 2-slot circuit, a 4-slot circuit and two 3-slot circuits.

We lack any 1-slot circuits at this moment.

This makes for a pretty poor selection of possible choices;

with 6 slots you can: use block&redigestion, use 3 redigestions, use 2 spin/sound or a combination of both;

with 7 slots, you can now combine block with either spin or sound, but can't do anything with the 7th slot if you use 3 redigestions or 2 of spin/sound.

Moreover, redigestion, being the only 2-slot gamma circuit at this moment, doesn't seem to have much reason to stay plugged in? Since it is tied to a specific interaction you are unlikely to encounter of need in day-to-day, there's little point in keeping the circuit on outside of eating some rot in bulk. This only further hurts build variety.

It is possible that affinities will add new circuits, however, that alone wouldn't really fix the issue, as it would likely be 1, maybe 2, circuits, probably late game, which could be neat but not really the savior of gamma-type I'd imagine.

I feel like having at least a few 1-slot circuits is quite vital for good combination variety, but either way, it seems that the 4 circuits we have right now, even once refined and tweaked to be in a good spot, are not quite enough to justify gamma type's existence, at least the way I see it.

Hopefully there's just... some more circuits in the plans? I guess? Don't really know what else could be done.

i am under the assumption that they will add more gamma circuits. I think the circuits would be far more competitive if they were all much better though, I think everyone was hoping that the gamma circuits would help to reinforce a desired playstyle through their special actions, but i dont think any of the circuits really synergize with anything that exists so they are very independent from the rest of the circuits (blocking circuit works with electrification i guess, but im like 80% sure that's why they nerfed the electrification circuit)
