Jussatoon
I know, the game isn't meant for a controller at all, and it likely won't be ported to any consoles for that reason. However, the experience works surprisingly well when you do use one. There are buttons to zoom in/out, change time speed, access common menus like the schedule, skills and research, etc, and the left and right stick controls the cursor and pans the camera respectively. Obviously a controller has less buttons than a keyboard, so hotkeys are more limited, but that's fine. The one thing holding me back from using it more often is the fact that the cursor moves too slow, and if there's a way to speed it up, I haven't figured it out yet. My only request is to add an option to adjust the cursor speed, or even just increase it outright. Again, this is an odd request, I know, but I figured I'd take my chance. BLACKBERREST3
You can play this on controller??? 👀 You could do everything custom and try to use steam input to map everything the way you want including cursor speed. You could even do hybrid controls where half of the inputs are your regular controller inputs and the other half are keyboard keys. You could even set up macros / mode shift to get even more layouts if you want. I use steam input for a lot of games. And I see that I can rebind the buttons to more of the game's actions if I wanted to. Thank you so much!
