I wanted it to be buffed since its health regeneration didn't feel impactful enough in the past but they over buffed it by quadrupling its health regeneration: it went from healing 5 hp every 30 seconds (0,167hp per second)  to 10 hp every 15 seconds  (0,667 hp per second) while at the same time giving it a regenerating shield that is equal to 20% his maximum HP, this is without considering that it also helps WX sanity a lot by giving +100 maximum sanity - making his sanity go from 100 to 200 - and that HP circuits now give innate damage reduction making hp regeneration much more valuable (Beenbooster hp + 2 x Super-Hardy Circuit = 0,667 hp per second + 40% innate damage reduction which results in 0,667/0,6 = 1,12 effective HP per second).  For comparison, the current 0,667 hp per second is more than DOUBLE Weremoose's health regen (0,3 hp per second), it doesn't hinder my ability to heal from inventory if I want and it works while outside of combat which is one of the best parts about it to me. The circuit has a lot of good things going on for it already, just tune down the hp regeneration a bit and it will be perfect. 

Edit: I was wrong, they didnt quadruple beanbooster hp regen and the current value is perfect. Also, I love the Beanbooster Circuit because it allows for silly hp regen builds that are probably a meme but really fun, please don't change it klei 😭

atm its 10 every 30 seconds, with 2 bean boosters you heal 20 every 30 seconds. sanity doesnt matter that much in the grand scheme of things. the shield only heals if you are full health.So, the way it is right now, its not worth sacrificing 200 health and ~10% damage reduction for it (the big health circuit and a small one). Woodie's weremoose form has 90% damage reduction so its not really fair to compair it. Its perfectly balanced and just enough for it. Imo the bean booster should be an more active circuit, functioning like the nanomachines from terraria's calamity mod, healing a burst of health on a cooldown. The beanbooster its obtained from fighting one of the harder bosses in the game after all.

Yeah I agree. All the alpha circuit secondary effects should be nerfed in general, and increasing the health regen wasn’t really nessisary.

It also halves insanity auras.

(Well you can’t stack armour with the damage reduction, can’t use items or anything like that)

My bad I got the values mixed I thought 20 every 30 seconds was the value for only one and that it didnt stack but it is the value for stacking 2 Beanbooster Circuits and the value for one is 10 every 30 seconds - as you said, meaning 0,333 hp every second which is just a bit more than my Weremoose example which is a much more reasonable number since unlike weremoose you can regen out of combat but it consumes armor durability when fighting if you get hit and if you want to stack two of those you cant get the big hp circuits that give the most inate armor. The funny thing is that I was going to suggest the regen to be 0,4 hp per second for one Beanbooster circuit which is higher than the current value.

So Yes I agree with you, the current value is the perfect one since its just enough to feel good using but not so much that it is too much regen.

I was already going to use the Beanbooster just for the shield and hp regen effect. Im actually surprised that it halves insanity aura because I didnt know it did that and it is a strong effect to have when considering that it already gives you +100 maximum sanity and the hp regen/shield effect already being strong effects on their own, I think it giving sanity from bosses aura would be too much.

i was joking. halving sanity drain might be a bit much and the same goes for normal sanity modules, but the +100 sanity and regen/shield are fine. It takes a while to generate and you can't get the shield from healing items or food so it is not as practical as having real hp (unless shieldgating is a thing)

Does the shield regeneration speed stack if I have 2 Beanboosters or is it the same speed as having only 1?

it does, but you would be losing out on both red hp and shield strength. with 2 bean boosters you get  40 shield (60 with 1 red) leaving you at 100(140) or 150(210) hp(ehp). as opposed to 400(480) with 2. (I don't even want to get into it with the damage reduction because I expect it to get tweaked). Having 2 would be chill for general play but you would be sacrificing a lot of reliable hp

I also didn’t mention how it also makes positive Sainity auras from clothes and stuff 25% better, and comes with its own Sainity regen.

the sanity regen isn't new, the buff to clothes is nice I guess, I don't wear tam o shanter all that much outside of winter or the occasional top off. Banana shakes keep me fresh. it seems like a wordwall of compounded stuff at first glance but most of it's effects are mediocre aside from the sanity drain. at 50% does that mean 2 of them makes you immune to sanity loss?
