should we be able to use the personal floater manually without a boat?

Currently you can only  use the floater by jumping of a boats board,getting said boat trashed or lag.

then when in water you automatically jump of it when near the shore making the floater irretrievable, without special items.

 

I think it would be nice if we could place the personal floater in water and then get a prompt to jump onto it,

or from it when on it.
