oni-san Posted February 23 Share Posted February 23 Hello! I'm playing ONI again after a hiatus of about a year. Turns out something has changed over the year and my hatch ranch no longer works. I have pictured here a simplified version of the problem area. The airlock is used to drop a new hatch into the stables, the door leads to evolution when the stables are full. The reason to have an airlock on the bottom instead of a door is to avoid a hatch that gets trapped in the evolution door to drop all the way down to the stables by accident. Now it used to be the hatch was willing to step into the airlock without a problem. Now it needs to see some open space behind it, lest it stay in it's place forever. Interestingly enough, no such requirement seems to exist for a door, but as noted, that will not work in this situation. Is this intended behaviour, and should I rework the ranch, or is that an oops?
