Draggofroot
The new clockwork taming stuff is nice but what I think would be epic is to be able to make guards for your base that could just sit there as if your base was a chess biome. It would be cool to have bishops act as sentries and knights act like... knights for your base (castle) rooks could also be left stationed at a forestry or quarry pictured is a recreation of what I have in mind Edited February 14 by Draggofroot suggestion 6 1 Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/169790-i-want-the-ability-to-position-clockworks-in-one-spot/ Share on other sites
Pig and beefalo
Cool! Perhaps some decorations can be given to them to make them look more like guards, Like a stage play. YouKnowWho142
I wish there was a way to make them not follow you all the time in general. The clockworks are pretty cool and depending on the situation I could see myself getting some occasionally in normal runs but they will always follow you until they die, which is extremely inconvenient. Being able to station them somewhere and let them sleep as guards would be genuinely very cool and fix the aforementioned problem as well Edited February 14 by YouKnowWho142 8 Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/169790-i-want-the-ability-to-position-clockworks-in-one-spot/#findComment-1851428 Share on other sites

Their constant following feels very obstructive. It's better to limit their number of followers and at the same time enhance their function as sentries, just like in the ruins, to attack invaders. It would make taming clockworks too easy again and undermine the new change. 1 Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/169790-i-want-the-ability-to-position-clockworks-in-one-spot/#findComment-1851436 Share on other sites
