viblym
Noooo not skill tree restricted items.... the friendly gifts one is neat. Ingredient efficiencies is very neat but that might incidentally conflict with a variety of dishes, so you have to be very careful with what ingredients you buff, you might incidentally remove the ability to cook certain dishes with that one. Warly has specific dishes that provide temperature buffs for hot and cold already, it feels like a redundancy to add a spice that does the same thing. Most of these don't really tap into what would really spruce Warly up and instead just continue to widen the same stuff that he already has. So much expansion on foods and collecting foods, but the system around food in the first place doesn't really serve to put him up a notch when it comes to his gameplay outside of foods. There is a lot of work put into the numbers and abilities, but it's just not clicking with me. killerrobo_
the first idea of sauces would be cool though seems a bit broken, with speed bonuses being considered very good maybe a nerf to make it 10% instead of 15% would be more balanced, the ketchup giving 15% bonus to HP, Sanity, and hunger seems a bit much though many things don't give a lot of all 3, i crunched numbers on some thing simple like a honey ham giving you additional 4.5 hp, 11.25 hunger, rounded 1 sanity, with tall scotched egg (though limited ability to make, it isn't hard) giving 22.5 more hunger, +9 hp and rounded 1 sanity, which makes it only really useful for the high stat food so instead maybe have it do +5 to hunger, HP, and sanity making it more useful on any food while capping it so you can't just make meaty stew give half a day worth of food extra, fish Sause seems fine, but the caramel seems broken af giving 180 sanity over the 2 min or 1.5 a sec or to put in other words is more than 3x faster sanity gain then a dwarf star and cause you can put it on any food you will never need any sanity food again, for more perspective fuel weavers sanity drain within melee range (not right on top of him but as far as you can be to still be able to hit him) is -1 a sec your sauce would make you still gain sanity while fighting fuel weaver. probably nerf the deluxe trail mix to 32.5 hunger and 15 sanity, eel roast is also OP being able to fish for eel in ponds in caves and get the glow berries and then just use cave lichen as filler to not only feed your self in the caves, but also not lose sanity for and entire in game day maybe nerf the food down to 50 hunger and maybe have it half the drain instead of full voiding of it, and cave salad should be 20 hp not 40, spicy wings on there own are not the most op thing however when combined with volt goat jelly and wolfgang 2x damage and chili powder bonus damage it will be very fast over powered, even without the spicy wings it is considered OP, the honey trunk should actually be buffed in the hp area from 20 hp to at less 60 hp, mandrake nuggets seem a bit busted also with good healing (225 hp per mandrake) and sanity (99 per mandrake) while also acting as a pan flute allowing you to heal and put everything to sleep (3 pan flutes effect per mandrake) however the simple fact that i think most people prefer having more flute uses over the hp would maybe leave it useless maybe make it more different than just pan flute that heals you, purple dust seems a bit op considering it makes night armor broken and you get 20mins for 1 gem seems a bit much, it also takes away from maxwells ability to use shadow items without the down side by making anyone be able too also, the yellow gem is also broken making bosses attack you 17% less means 17% less worrying about being attacked (aka free damage) and as far as i have read it, it seems to be able to kind of stun look anything else without really trying, green gem on is cool but being able to make 15 crafts from the ruins at the cost of one green gem seems a bit over the top, maybe make only 1 or 2 powder per gem, then for 3 fragments you want durability drain on ruins and magic items be reduced (i.e. dark sword, ice staff, heal amulet, construction amulet, deconstruction staff, thulecite crown/body armor, do i need to go on?) this would be broken even if it was 1% less durability drain because you could dupe 1 extra time with construction amulet and staff combo and ruins loot is meant to be rare and none permeant because it is strong, being able to season dried food is OP lets put it this way you can make a meat ball using 1 meat 3 kelp well now you can instead season them 4 times if you dried them instead (epically if you swap Warly then the reduced hunger amount wouldn't apply, but this effectively allows for more effective seasoning to just swap him), and the fusion dish is also op with 10 planar defense already being REALLY good amount (same amount a brightshade helm gives) and 10 planar damage being a also good amount though having to be a alignment dish makes it more balanced having +20 planar defense and +20 planar damage is just busted end of story then you add on the fact any body that died 3 time and has 0 hunger is now at max hunger and no longer has hp pen. is even more broken not to mention its solid hp healed of 50 and sanity of 33 late game you could just chug these to fight scion to gain hp hunger sanity damage defense and if it can stack with the other two also then thats +40 to defense and damage add the spicy wings and wolfgang 2x and volt goat jelly with blow dart (base damage of 200) and you can say bye bey to any boss you want. 9 minutes ago, killerrobo_ said: +40 to defense and damage add the spicy wings and wolfgang 2x and volt goat jelly with blow dart (base damage of 200) and you can say bye bey to any boss you want. this would give you a dps of 2750 per sec with per hit damage of 1375 assuming the target is wet 12 minutes ago, killerrobo_ said: 1375 assuming the target is wet it is 1100 actually without it being wet it is 660 also forgot to add the chili flakes that adds 20% more damage making it 3300 damage per sec to put into more swallowable numbers, it would be able to kill misery toadstool in 30 sec (does require 60 blow darts or 60 hounds teeth with the houndizer) not to mention the fact that add planar damage to the player makes where you don't need a planar weapon to stun planar enemies Link to comment SophieTheGay
if you wanna gather a bunch of specific items and use either post rift or expensive weapons and switch characters just to fight a single boss you deserve a sub minute misery toadstool kill imo Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/169757-warly-skill-tree-idea-made-by-a-warly-main/#findComment-1851688 Share on other sites

Add on top of it. Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/169757-warly-skill-tree-idea-made-by-a-warly-main/#findComment-1851867 Share on other sites
