woogigooie
Evening! I'm attempting to create a sort of 'custom horn'. Following the threads I located the function "SetAssetOverrides" inside the instrument constructor. This allowed me to change the sound of this horn. But I either can't replace the textures here, or I'm doing it wrong hahah- The functions inputs are Build, Symbol, and Sound. Sound I utilized just fine. But the other two... I'm not too sure about. If the other two function inputs can't be used how I'm attempting to just let me know! And if you possibly know a way to swap out the texture of the horn while still using the same animation, i'd love to be enlightened! My stand-in anim zip is essentially a clone of the beefalo horn but with a squiggle thrown on so I can actually see if it's changed before I try anything else. EDIT: Still not solved HOWEVER the problem is probably from me cloning the horn file and not being able to rename any of the internals of the anim.bin to match the items name. I'm not sure what I can do about that- But I have some stuff to test out in the meantime.
