Intended feature or bug? Cant feed beefalo while mid-combat, once I was bugged off.

I am just trying to fight celestial scion on a Beefalo, but if i get hit and fall of the saddle, even if I have remounted it, i cant feed it while being mounted anymore.

usually when your beef is aggroed onto something when you don‘t ride it, it refuses to be fed. But never have I experienced it refusing to be fed while you are mounted.

Is this an bug or an intended feature?

if you force mount with  nightmare saddle ( war saddle too, but only 2 people on this planet use it ) , the beef will refuse to be fed because is still angry

Oh wow, I never realized that.

In case of celestial scion, I have already found a work around. If I get demounted I just create distance and spam brightshade staff.

When he does his jumpattack to me, my beef looses aggro because scion will be untargetable in the air, then i can dodge the jump and remount and feed/heal my beef again.
