I have created a mod character with custom animations. In a regular surface world, the custom attack animations work perfectly. However, in worlds with Caves enabled, the character becomes invisible only during the attack animation (the character is visible otherwise).

When this happens, it seems the character performs a basic "unarmed" attack instead of the custom one. I suspect that the Cave server is failing to load my custom animation data, and since I set it to default to an unarmed attack if the animation fails to load, that’s what's triggering.

My questions are:

  1. Why does the character become invisible specifically during the attack animation in the Caves?

  2. Does the Cave server (dedicated server) have different requirements or limitations for supporting custom animations?

  3. How can I fix this so the animation syncs properly in Cave worlds?
