Help me? Extracting animations from the game

I would like to use the character / mobs animations for some posts in social media, but I would like to change the skin also and be able to extract the video file or gif file from it; I've followed this guide: https://dontstarve.fandom.com/wiki/User_blog:MMueck/How_to_extract_animations_from_the_game and I was able to see a character with some dancing animations (with a lot of arms, but it's probably removable). But I would like to change the skins too and extract the files. I'm starter on this, so I have no idea on how to use Spriter and other tools. If there's an easier way please tell me

Ktool is outdated. You can try some newer tools on the forum, but most don't have the ability to export to video or GIF. You can export to SCML first, then export to video.
