How is it to play with controller? Asking for a mod's developement.

Hi everyone, complete noob to the modding enviroment of DST, and i'd like some feedback:
For people that play with controller on PC, how is it? Since I don't have one, I can't really verify on my own.
I wanted in the future to further develope a mod I am working on, and the topic of controller support recently.popped up.
The character mod has/will have the following aspects/abilities:

• can teleport around the screen like Wortox
• has peculiar interactions with containers (think of it as Winona's portability skill)
• when certain conditions are met, you can attack enemies from a distance (no item in hand required)
• will be able to access a "storage" of sort from an hat (think of it as Maxwell's magician's hat)

How are those sort of actions/interactions on controller?
