LordeMao
How do you remove bees from a hive during the winter without destroying the hive? I've already used an ice staff, fire with an ice flingomatic, but it ended up losing a lot of damage to the hive, and snowballs. Is there any item that doesn't do damage and makes them come out of their burrows. I'm playing Wortox and my map only has 3 red beehives ;-; Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/169243-bees-in-winter/ Share on other sites
Pe Dabliu
Maybe build your own bee boxes and to the same thing? I m not 100 sure there they will come out of the built ones with fire, but it's worth a try 3 Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/169243-bees-in-winter/#findComment-1846891 Share on other sites
LordeMao
True, the ones on the map are kind of "alive", they have HP and it doesn't recover, but the wooden ones don't. I'll try that one. Thanks ^^ Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/169243-bees-in-winter/#findComment-1846902 Share on other sites

Healing Salves or Honey Poultice work on enemies and Organic Structures (ie Bee Hives, Hound Mounds, Houndius Shootius, etc) 1 1 1 Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/169243-bees-in-winter/#findComment-1846937 Share on other sites

linabagel
If there are too few Beehive and KillerBeehive in your world, it is recommended that you build a large number of Beeboxes. However, the production materials require Honeycomb, which means that in addition to defeating BeeQueen, you still need to destroy some Beehive to obtain it. So before this, you can use SeaFishingRod or FreshwaterFishingRod instead of other weapons to attack Beehive, because the damage caused by both of them is only 4.25. Then use the cheap SpiderGland or MosquitoSack to treat them, so that you can use them for a longer time until you are ready to build a large number of BeeHives. 1 Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/169243-bees-in-winter/#findComment-1847026 Share on other sites
