Cuernito.
So i made this poll, i think its my first one idk i dont remember any other. I just want to know what do people in this forum think about the idea of giving wx78 a stealth circuit in his skill tree, i think that could add more fun customization to the character. Like imagine a stealth killer robot that could be cool! 1 Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/168926-should-wx78-get-more-funny-circuits-in-his-skill-tree/ Share on other sites
Nikki Darks
The invisibility sounds cool if you ask me, but Idk if it fits WX-78 out of all the characters. However, I do think the priority with WX should be buffing previous circuits which are too weak before adding new ones. But yeah, the idea is cool. 3 Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/168926-should-wx78-get-more-funny-circuits-in-his-skill-tree/#findComment-1844321 Share on other sites
Semind
Sitting down and thinking about it... I'm not even entirely sure if it's all that interesting of a concept? Given the general mechanics of combat in this game, the stealth part of it seems somewhat inconsequential and just becomes intermittent bonus damage. Which is maybe the least exciting thing I can think of. There's really only a small handful of situations where I can think that avoiding being spotted would materially change the player experience; there's the Ruins. where WX already has an easier time avoiding being noticed, and there's the Pig Guard setpieces, which more often than not don't get generated in a given world. I guess it could be useful for resource gathering in areas crawling with annoying enemies (forests, spider quarries, swamps) I'm sure Klei could find a way to make interesting design choices if they had to build such an idea. But a standard approach seems like it'd feel like a waste. 1 Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/168926-should-wx78-get-more-funny-circuits-in-his-skill-tree/#findComment-1844433 Share on other sites

If the invisibility were to work like the console command, there'd still be hound waves. When you're not seen by mobs, they can still spawn... It's just that they spawn aggroed onto other creatures, players or structures. Bumber64
Isn't invisibility just the bush hat? IDK why being invisible would protect you from worms. No eyes. I agree, buffing the existing circuits sounds like the way to go. I've been thinking a lot about an overclocking mechanic, where the durability of the circuit is used, in order to boost the efficiency of a circuit for half a day, or even a full day. I think the way circuit durability works at the moment, is kinda backwards, and really discourages the player from trying different circuits. If they made a new extraction tool, that allows for no durability loss, and then shifted durability use towards something useful like that, I think it would make for a more enjoyable experience. Like overclocking the speed circuit to give 30% for a day, instad of 25%. Or overclocking the heat circuit, to reach a little higher than 0° and extend the reach to a 1 tile radius, for a day. Not too overpowered, but still useful. 1 Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/168926-should-wx78-get-more-funny-circuits-in-his-skill-tree/#findComment-1845163 Share on other sites
