Old and new issues in SteamOS

I just want to say I love this game and appreciate all the work that has gone into it.

One consistent issue I have had, is when a window pops up for text entry (like to name an item, or search) if I enter anything into the box, it won't close, the submit and cancel buttons do nothing, and I basically have to close and reopen the game.

The latest patch has good changes, but recently I have noticed dups stop responding, they have tasks to do, but just stand there, and once I move them they get back into normal behavior, the oddest example was researching, two dups were at their stations, with no progression, until I moved them both. Its only very recent and happens only occasionally. Not sure how much testing is done on steamOS, but if there is anyway I can help, let me know.
