can i ask why is the mosaic even still in the game?

My only gripe with Mosaic is that it has all of the starter essentials in it and it's right next to portal...

Idk, it just feels boring to have all you need at the start right at the spawn...?

I'd much prefer if its contents got spread out across other biomes to entice you to rapidly explore early for basic resources.

Because as it is right now, it's just... Every early game resource (besides grass 50% of the time) right there for free right next to your spawn, and that's quite boring.

However, aesthetically I love the look of mosaic. It's both functionally and visually chaotic.

That... Wouldn't be very new-player friendly.

You kinda need Flints to be easily available to let people play the game

I can see the appeal of your idea though, but it's something that would only make sense in a mod, not so much in the base game where new players need to be actually thought of.
