numbnugget Posted November 18, 2025 Share Posted November 18, 2025 I made this mod which replaced many of the DST sounds with PVZ ones, but for some reason, the sounds are way too loud, even though on FMOD, I set their volume to -18db, but it still sounds like they're at max volume. I found this on the game code: inst.SoundEmitter:SetParameter("idsound?", "intensity", intensity) and when you play the sound: inst.SoundEmitter:PlaySound("soundevent", "idsound?") To be honest, this has never worked for me, but hey, maybe it will for you. By the way, did you set your sounds to 3D in FMOD? I don't know how much it affects things, but in my case, if they're set to 2D, it seems like the sound doesn't detect whether you're far away or close to it, and it sounds like it's always right next to you.
