Shady Badger
I made a post on the DST forums about these complications but they extend even to Rotwood. If I try to join a public lobby, I have to manually sign out the controller player, which is the DOCKED STEAM DECK. I have to lean over and press B on my docked Steam Deck to be able to join public servers bc it assumes I'm P2. I've gone through settings, what little is there, I don't think there's an options choice to avoid this. It's not that big of a deal but I'd like a fix; it'd make doing Rotwood pubs easier. Reddit threads confirm DST on Steam Deck often locks to controller input and can reset to that after loading screens, making it hard to join games with mouse/keyboard unless you manually toggle controller states each time.
