WendyHater9000
First they release the Giant Depth Worm, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a Mega base builder. Then they destroy the hermit island, and I did not speak out— Because I was not an island decorator. Then they release the electric-igniting mechanic, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a leafy meat farmer. Then they release the Crystal-Crested Buzzard— and there was no one left to speak for me. 4 1 1 1 3 1 1 Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/168660-first-they-release/ Share on other sites
HowlVoid
This might be a little over the top. Plus a lot of these have counters, klei has been good at giving us tools to deal with large scale difficulties people are labeling "inconviniences" to justify removing them from the game. Just like they gave us bridges and pillars to keep up with th game's changes. I will say out of all of these i fail to undesrtand the pupose of minor shocks causing plants to combust (outside of lightning strikes). But i also havent seen much pushback outside of one thread involving grass geckos? I may have missed it. Klei should provide megabasers a counter to it. Maybe obtaining a sticky sap from tapping above-average trees, thay you can rub on mobs/structures yo make them insulated. Or something idk. lowercase skye
This is unbelievably tasteless and I cannot believe you actually typed this out and posted it. Do you understand the comparison you are making? Do you understand the gravity of what you are comparing to an inconvenient feature in a video game? Waywarbler
CRAZY post, considering what "They" is referring to in the original poem. Do you really feel that way towards Klei??? 10 1 1 1 Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/168660-first-they-release/#findComment-1841897 Share on other sites

I think the only thing that is being borrowed is the sentiment of not speaking up and no longer having any support. I can see how these things can be upsetting, but do not agree that it is "rightful" because that suggests a bias towards looking for things to be upset about. Alter fascist though. 3 Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/168660-first-they-release/#findComment-1841898 Share on other sites

They are doing it via adding video game terms into a poem about the holocaust. 9 minutes ago, Popian said: I can see how these things can be upsetting, but do not agree that it is "rightful" because that suggests a bias towards looking for things to be upset about. Is it "looking for things to be upset about" to be offput whenever someone takes a poem about, again, the literal holocaust, and slots video game terms in in a way that implies they think a video game getting new features that are mildly inconvenient is, again, comparable to the literal actual holocaust? How is this about the holocaust or about supporting any part of it? (Yes it isn't very respectful.) The message at worst is "devs are fascist", which they can simply ignore because there's nothing really constructive other than the examples of what some people don't like. 2 1 Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/168660-first-they-release/#findComment-1841900 Share on other sites
