Base game map seed / re-create map

Hello,

I'm very new to Don't Starve. I hope I'm in the right part of the forum for this question. Yesterday I got a map in a new savefile that is perfect for my current strategy and I'd love to be able to replay the map / start again on this map should I die in that savefile. I'm not sure if clicking retry gives us the same map again or generates a new one. I wanted to know the seed of this map / world so I can reuse it, but all I've found on the internet are info about Don't Starve Together and approaches for the base game from like 5 to 7 years ago which don't seem to work for me. Is there any way to make copies or re-create the same map? Doesn't matter if the game progress is copied too or not, what matters to me is the map / world itself.
