PS4 to PS5 using physical?

I noticed there was a free upgrade for DST, but the FAQ only mentions how to claim the PS5 digital version if you already own the PS4 digital version.

How do physical disc owners go about claiming the upgrade? as the store isn’t offering one 🫤

I'm wondering the very same thing, I own the Don't Starve Mega Pack since 2016, and since the recent PlayStation 5 version released, I wanted to jump back in and start playing. I inserted the disc, and still only had the option to download the PlayStation 4 version of Don't Starve and Don't Starve together. If Klei is giving out free upgrades for digital owners, I would like the same for physical owners rather than having to pay another $15 for a game I own. If you see this Klei, please reach out to us. I feel like it's not up to them, but to Sony at this point. I can't even claim PS5 release for having PS4 digital due to regional changes Sony did ;-;
