Hey! So i've been trying to repurpose wormwood's summoning animation (for the animals he crafts) for another character that casts lunar magic. But I can't find what the darned thing is called in the wormwood prefab file or anywhere. I'm not entirely sure where to look/ browse for dst animations or to find what they are called. Any pointers would be really great

If anyone is intrested here is the character i'd be using this for!

all of the animations are located in data/anim ! i believe the one you're looking for specifically should be contained within wormwood_skills.zip :encouragement:

if you don't have anything to open them with somebody released a mod tool recently that should let you do that, so you can see what the anim banks are called.

this character looks gorgeous btw, i really like their design

Okay so, I've been trying to replace the spellcaster animation with the wormwood summoning one, but I can only get it to play after the spellcasting happens. So I tried putting the animation directly in the SetSpellFn which does nothing. I'm not too sure where to go from here, I've also messed around with wanda's clock files but I can't figure out how they changed the animation for her. I did figure out the pig_coin effect has a tag that changes the animation but it's not what I want. If you have time to give me pointers I would really be in debt lol, Anyways thanks for the help!

(Casting animation is still the default one, it dosen't look bad with the staff but without carrying anything it looks really weird

looking at pocketwatch.lua and pocketwatch_common.lua seems to indicate that it also has a tag that changes her casting animation upon use, so i'd have to assume that it could work similarly to the pig_coin effect? i'm having difficulty finding where exactly those tags are defined - and i could not find a similar one for Wormwood, but that doesn't really mean he doesn't have one, i just have issues looking through skill tree stuff - but i hope that helps a little? i'd also look into other character mods and see if they have any custom casting animations, and how they manage those.
